The National Water Industry Cluster Project Group (Director Park Seok-hoon) announced on the 25th that it has selected nine teams through a one-month call for applications earlier this year for the 2024 Water Technology Active Digitalization Support Program.
Since 2021, the Project Group has been steadily promoting this support program aimed at technological innovation for water technologies and products. The program accelerates the discovery and nurturing of smart, top-tier water companies through digitalization support.
For the 2024 Water Technology Active Digitalization Support Program, 36 teams from water companies applied, showcasing various technologies including smart functions applied to water technologies and products such as water quality measuring devices, water quantity measuring devices, controllers, as well as AI-based monitoring and facility operation systems.
After evaluation, nine teams including BLUESEN were finally selected.

This effort will build a global-leading hub for Korea’s water industry core materials and components.
Since the opening of the Water Industry Cluster in 2019, the Project Group has been selecting companies through calls and evaluations since 2021 to support technology development and commercialization, providing up to 300 million KRW per year for a maximum of three years.
From 2021 to 2023, the Project Group supported 21 companies with a total of 5 billion KRW.
Companies that received support have secured technological competitiveness and market expansion momentum by obtaining 75 intellectual property rights such as patents and certifications through technology development and demonstration.
Park Seok-hoon, Director of the National Water Industry Cluster Project Group, stated,
“With the Water Technology Active Digitalization Support Program, we hope water companies will overcome the limitations of the water market and emerge as a K-brand recognized in the global market.”
